Sheikh Mohamad

Founder & CEO

Sheikh Mohamad began to meditate at a young age and his deep fascination with the mind is what led to founding MinDec Research. To him, MinDec is the platform where he can practically and scientifically study the mind, quantum physics, neurobiology, psychology and cognitive science.

Sheikh Mohamad is an entrepreneur, multi-disciplinary designer, and an experienced meditator. At MinDec, he is in-charge of the business’s overall operation, product design, research, development, and commercialisation.

As a graduate in computer graphics and computer science, he used to run a multi-disciplinary branding and design agency for eleven years.

Dr. Alan Soh @ Abdul Hanan

Medical Hypnotherapist & Family Physician

Dr Alan is a visiting Hypnotherapy Consultant at the University Malaya Medical Centre’s Chronic Pain Clinic. Dr Alan holds a Practitioner Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis and a Specialist Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy, and is a full member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis. He lectures at all levels of hypnosis courses offered at LCCH Asia and conducts clinical hypnotherapy sessions at his private practice, both as an adjunct to medical practice and as a stand-alone clinical hypnotherapy option.

Dr. Alan Soh is a clinical hypnotherapist responsible for MinDec’s revolutionary MediHyp series. Aside from being a general medical practitioner with his own practice in Selangor, Malaysia, he is also the Medical Director of the LCCH Asia and the President of the Malaysian Society of Clinical Hypnosis.

Dr Alan is actively pioneering research into the use of clinical hypnosis and surgery and is the Course Leader for the Advanced Practitioner Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy. He believes that symptoms are an expression of delicate interplay of biological, psychological, and social factors. His training as a medical doctor has enabled him to manage the biological components of diseases, whilst his experience in clinical hypnotherapy enables him to practice holistic medicine and address the psychological and social components of illnesses.

Prof. Dr. -Ing Eko Supriyanto

Senior Research Fellow & Lead Researcher,
Universiti Teknologi Malaysia

Prof. Eko joined our research partner, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2006, where he is currently the Director of IJN-UTM Cardiovascular Engineering Research Centre and the Head of Advanced Diagnostics Research Group. He is also a Visiting Professor at Ilmenau University of Technology, Germany and Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Indonesia.

Born in Demak, Indonesia, Prof. Eko completed his PhD in engineering and electronics at the Helmut Schmidt University, Hamburg, Germany. At MinDec, Prof. Eko is responsible for all scientific studies and clinical researches that involve our technology.

Fluent in four languages, he has published more than 230 scientific papers on science, technology, and medical engineering. He has received at least 35 international recognitions; including The Most Creative Invention Award (Thailand), Best of The Best Innovator Award (Malaysia), and Special Award from South Korea. Currently, Prof. Eko owns 21 medical engineering related patents such as Smart Doll, USG in obstetrics, Smart Mobile Telemedicine, Alzheimer Early Detector, and Cervical Cancer Early Detector.

Norul Farihah Binti Muda

Chief Financial Officer

As a graduate from the University of Malaya with vast experience in commercial and healthcare industries, her involvement in MinDec has helped us to grow efficiently.

Norul Farihah started her career as auditor at an established Audit Firm in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and gained experience in internal and external auditing, taxation, and company secretarial matters. After 6 years in the audit industry, she moved to join a holding company that involved trading as an accountant before pursuing her career at one the largest heart centre’s in Asia as the General Manager of Financial Management Division.

As a Certified Chartered Accountant, registered with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, she brings with her more that 16 years of experience in corporate governance and development, corporate finance, taxation, and financial management. She is also involved in establishing strategic information system plans and is certified by IASA as a Business Architect.

Dr. Mohd Ismail Bin Mohd Yusoff

Occupational Health Physician & Family Physician

Dr. Ismail’s fascination with the human mind and body began when he was a kid. He believes that the human’s subconscious mind contains natural power for body and psychological healing – a reservoir of mysterious abilities yet to be fully understood by science and technology. His passion to explore the hidden potentials of the human mind has inspired him to be one of the key experts behind MinDec’s modulated brain stimulation audio technology.

Dr. Ismail is a qualified medical practitioner with vast clinical experience ranging from treating minor injuries, to post-traumatic stress disorders and occupational health.

He is in-charge of the BodyTunes series and works on various medical research, lab and field studies as well as ensuring that our innovation is safe and meets our clinical standards. A graduate from the University of Malaya, he also runs several private clinics in the Klang valley and Selangor, Malaysia.
